Anyone whose been to Italy can 100% tell you there is Garlic bread. It won't be listed as 'Garlic bread' and it won't look like a baguetted garlic bread either, but it's on most local menus in some form, a bruschetta itself will be on every starter in local restaurants in any city in italy and that's literally toasted bread with garlic and fresh tomatoes.

I ate the Cannelloni with Garlic Bread at one of Gordon's Pizza Kitchen locations. It was really tasty, fresh and garlicky. Also the staff were really friendly. I have no idea who the complaining guy is. Everyone knows who Gordon is. :/
