I head out to my local permission woods for a solo hammock camp and the weather is terrible with heavy rain and the wind is picking up.
It's been around 10 months since I last camped in the woods so was great to get back but I noticed the difference in noise pollution thanks for watching please like comment and subscribe thanks everyone 😎😎👍👍

Always interesting to see hammock set-ups. I haven' t used tarps and hammocks much, so still learning. Looks like a great place to camp and must be good to have permission. Underneath a tarp seems like a proper cosy place to be in a downpour.

Another great camp Jimmy. Really well organised Mate, and despite the rain at the start you made it look easy Mate. But this is because you are very skilled at what you do. Great emphasis on the tidy up and Leave No Trace as always Bud 👍

Awesome video per usual. Using a pee bag in a hammock is an art form that few have mastered. I just stand up and use a urinal…as I refuse to wet the bed. Love the ending, cheers 🍻 take care and stay frosty.🏕🇨🇦🫡🇬🇧🏕

Well Brother it sounds like you got the same kind of luck I do. I bring out toys to play with and something happens every time ha ha ha . I think I'm gonna make a target out of some dried pine logs and set it up in my shelter so iit can rain if it wants to, , iI can throw knives or tomahawks.. well even with all the rain I still had a great time hangin out with ya . Good solo Jim mate...envious. You're right about that tarp...I'll stick to my DD ones. That bergen looks like it's ideal for our hammock setups and other kit. Is the bag itself heavy?
