Why are they putting less beds in to new hospitals does not make sense we have had a new hospital in our area with 250 beds but have closed 2 old hospitals with a capacity of 300 beds

Hello from across the pond (Missouri; USA). Regarding the grooming gangs; why is the King or Prince William or someone in the royal family not speaking up & speaking out.
