The hole cutout that exposes the apple logo has got both, a positive side and a negative side to it. The positive thing is, that it helps in disposing the heat quicker compared to a fully closed case, which results in less battery health degradation(from my own experience and observation). And the negative thing is, that it gets scratches and fingerprints on it too easily. But still, few of them like to show off that apple logo.

I disagree. I think every case for the iPhone should have the cut out to display that iconic Apple logo. Otherwise why have an iPhone.

Could easily just cut off a small peice from a screen protector for the Apple logo
