Honesty is the key. You’re allowed to have feelings. Adele needs to be open up about her fear and her fans will understand. The show isn’t for her it’s for her fan. What do you expect, when you sign up as a celebrity/entertainer you do your job just like all adults do.

Panic attacks are real and should be taken seriously. The problem here is that if someone is aware that they suffer with panic attacks when performing in front of a live audience they should not subject themselves to that mental and physical torture. Sadly, however, her decision to cancel the residency has caused her fans financial losses ( she will do just fine with the millions she has acquired during.her career ) and that is totally unfair. Some token gesture to give some fans a gift bag is an insult. Perhaps she should consider reimbursement for international plane flights in addition to ticket refunds

I was there the week before. Caesar's had huge pictures of Adele everywhere. I meant to snap a few pictures, but didn't. Ooops. Would have been ironic. But they are shredded now. Thanks for saying what lots of folks are thinking.

Easy fix to this problem is to only sell show tickets with a named guest and require ID to get it. Break the back of the scalpers

Adele is a product of a generation that believe they can do as they please. She became successful as a recording artist then started touring and then the fear of audiences started. It's not unusual as many famous singers have anxiety attacks before they go on stage but their professionalism came first and once on stage they performed perfectly. Adele unfortunately can't do this so all she has to do is stop touring and remain a recording artist. She will then find out how quickly audiences will find and follow other singers to see live. Success can be very short lived and the Vegas debacle is the turning point in her career.

If I'm a great dancer but doing it in front of people makes me depressed and anxious I'm not gonna make that my job. She financial ruined personally thousands of lives.
