She is of course a very talented and professional musician, but also very active in promoting music with young artists as well as speaking up for peace and freedom of expression. Khatia is my favourite pianist ever! No one plays like they’re IN the music like she does. She feels every note, understands the piece and every instruments role, is one with her conductor, can even play with her eyes shut or not looking at her hands. True mastery. She is a masterpiece herself. What an absolutely delightful woman she is too.❤ I’m devastated as she’s playing in Sydney Australia in November this year (2023) 4 concerts at our stunning Opera House and I found out after all the tickets were sold out 😫😩😭💔
