I just worked this whole piece back up not having played it in a long time. I have BA performance degree and played it on my junior recital 1994. I really connected with what you were saying about the harmonies in the prelude. It came back to me pretty quick, but I'm still polishing it. I do approach the whole piece with more reverence now. Wonderful lecture. Barrios was a Genius.

The prerequisites for being a great musician are having a high IQ and a musical gift. If you don't have these things, don't waste your time dreaming, because you will never get there.
