Artiphon Orba Shorts #12: Arcade by Output 'Lightness'

Orba and Arcade by Output go together like PB&J. In this video we experiment with Arcade’s “Lightness” patch from the “Pocket Band” Collection. This patch combines a rhythmic atmosphere with lush strings on top. Notice how we use Orba to trigger Arcade's samples and the black keys on the keyboard to trigger Arcade’s built-in effects.

How do you go about saving the tunes you make on the Orba? The computer program has no save button.

Hm… This one short is probably not one I’d want to feature, if I were you. Or do it by mapping bump to that D♯ or some such. It’d be better to have an actual “Arcade mode” (or any kind of way to map notes, especially on-the-fly!). In this case, though, it’s like saying that the Orba requires other hardware just to trigger FX in Arcade (which isn’t at all true).

I haven't got my orba yet...and no information when it's gonna be shipped. what's happening?? getting annoyed.

You do super cool videos and ship defective product that is not usable . The haptic feedback noise itself is like a snare...
Never respond to the support tickets as well.

This way sooner the downfall.

Faulty units. Think before your order and of course you get a lot time to think after ordering because it will take ages. Then you realise it’s not usable. Peace
