I did academically well my whole life I thrive in the sciences and math etc. I remember being friends with a girl in high school who would work for hour and get a barely passing mark, hard time focusing in classroom setting probably undiagnosed learning disabilities who always would say how she’s doomed or worthless or whatever especially when she was with me. That always shocked me because she was unstoppable in social event like making friends with everyone she sits beside going out and doing plays, improve, wiping it during presentations. All things I could never do things I have to put so much effort into doing yet she though there was no hope for her. It’s amazing how blind people are to there own talents.

Yeah Im not a stupid fish but I got left in the middle of a forest. The social structure of the USA is set up for "squirrels" and has few if any ponds or rivers for fish. To strech the metaphor.

thank you i have been having a hard time trying to figure out where do i want to go to college and i have always wanted to do something with chemistry or space but i have always struggled with spelling and math and this vido and trying to tell my self that my inability to spell without auto correcte or math without a cuculator isn’t something that i can’t fix i just need to see it as a learning curve so thank you :]

worked-Every single day of his existence, did not take any vacations whatsoever except for one time in the 90s, but even then that was pretty ridiculous he says. and here I am currently unemployed looking into different ways to get my bachelors because I cannot work and get my bachelors at the same time because I have a small brain and limited energy. Thankz I needed this reminder🤟I never did the SATS in school and never passed a math class without serious tutoring and guidance. I am at a community college becoming a Sign Language Interpreter (hoping to specialize in Environmental Science) and couldn’t be happier. But I still get super insecure when I don’t know something that seems to be common knowledge to everyone else, especially social cues or writing essays.
