Long Haul Low Cost Could Actually Work

Low cost airlines have been around for a pretty long time, but the overwhelming majority of those routes are short haul. Long haul low cost, on the other hand, has NEVER worked. But is that about to change? Watch to find out.

sorry i haven't uploaded in a while lol.

Love the livery. Wish them well. Never going on a modern Boeing.

I flew Norse from LGW to JFK for less than $300 roundtrip and it was pretty good. If you can compromise on airplane food and luggage, and you purely only need to get from London to New York, I think Norse is amazing

Norwegian did not go bankcorupt, they just stoped flying their long haul flights, they still operate flights within Europe

I can see Wizz using the A321XLR they already fly medium haul from southern Europe to AUH doesn’t need much extra range and could see London to AUH flights with the XLR

Most of this is definitely true between Europe & the USA, but Scoot, Air Asia and Jet Star all seem to be making it work in East/SE Asia and Australia. I wonder what the difference between the markets is!

Long Haul budget airlines in Asia are working well. Take for example Cebu Pacific, Air Asia and Scoot.

A231XLR is not gonna change anything, as 787 did not. The only thing i can imagine is a small airline operation just A220's with hub located either in St. John's or Iceland. Small planes gives grater flexibility thats gonna be neded for such airline.
