I have installed EmuElec on this box. Perfect retrogaming solution for all 8/16 bits consoles and computers, and even PS1 (runs quite well) and some simple Dreamcast games. Amazing for the price.

please tell me, I bought myself one, connected it to the TV, I bring the remote control from the console to it, but it does not work, when you connect it for the first time, does it need to be pressed or does it turn on itself?

Not bad for the price, I don't put to much into it only having Android 7, most Amazon sticks and boxes are still running their version of Android 7 and some still have Android 5. Amazon didn't upgrade to Android 9 until last October and Nvidia didn't upgrade to Android 9 until last July.

is the terrible netflix res because it's not genuine android-tv, but rather an (android) (tv box)? i need this information to be clearer, because i already have two cheap android boxes that are near useless because streaming services can send them resolution around 250 lines iirc

I have bought a a95xmax after watching your review. Unfortunately i am unable to mirror my phone scren in that. Kindly suggest an app or or tweak which allows me to mirror the phone screen . Cheers

Hi! I always enjoy watching your videos, thank you for your creativity. But I absolutely disagree with the conclusions of this review! For his money, he is the best (in my opinion). If you don't like Android 7, then this box has a large number of custom firmware, including Android TV and Android 9.0.

This one is crazy. It plays 4k and it games ok but advertising Android 9 and only getting 7.1 and it only has 3gb storage left is just a no no. I was shocked that it actually played 4k. No idea where they are going with this one.

I’ve seen a few typos on amazon but I’ve never come across an s912 chip device at 9.0 android yet they stop at 7.1.2 unless they just started upgrading 🤷🏻‍♂️ I doubt it. But I do like the s912 chip and their devices x92 being my favorite. All the s912s usually have about the same WiFi speed as your tests. And all and all are decent devices. For 25$ for maybe a travel box or a spare room device I’d say it’s good for that but. Not for a main device. I have an 8.1 device with that remote they are the absolute most awful remotes ever if anyone knows another that works in place of these please let me kniw me T95q remote doesn’t work in my 8.1 x-2 device. Even my s912 remote won’t work on it.
