Is This The Best Rigatoni Recipe Ever?

I just made something similar, but I used roasted tomatoes, red peppers, garlic, onions, and one zucchini/squash/ eggplant (whatever you like best or have handy). It’s so good and easy to make. I just roasted it all in the oven and then blended it in the blender and strained 3/4 of the mix and kept 1/4 of it with the pulp. I did peel the tomatoes and peppers skin off prior to blending. I first had it as a roasted vegetable sauce with the same pasta that you used and served it with crispy chicken cutlets on the side and fresh burrata cheese on top. Then the second night I added cream to the sauce and sautéed some fresh sliced sausages and laid them over the top of the creamy roasted vegetable sauce. Both were amazing! I highly recommend trying it!

I make the same thing but specifically with fresh mushrooms that also give you the msg. They add so much flavor and texture that’s messing from just pasta in a sauce but they have to be fresh (not canned) and cooked properly (not spongy)

This is sort of close to Calabrian pesto. I do something similar to this but I like to use ricotta instead of cream.
