This is gonna be sick! I feel like a kid again, watching Kong: The Animated Series. This is exactly the kind of animation i wanted from the Godzilla shows, looks like Kong will be the first since the old stuff to have a real go at it.

I'm in for any expansion of the monsterverse - so far it has been one of the most stable modern Hollywood franchises. Besides "The new empire" is still relatively far so it's nice to get something in the meantime.

Seeing this reminds me a bit of this old cartoon they had based on King Kong. It was a bit based off the version of King Kong before the MonsterVerse was a thing. It was Kong the animated series if you guys remember it.
