I use them since many years. The combination of the yellow Tortex and Flatwound Bass strings give you a great tone.

When I try out picks I mostly return to the Dunlop Tortex 0.73. The Dunlop Nylon 1mm are working too for me. Third place are Fender celluloid medium.

When I choose a pick I just like to look at it.

I like the Tortex in 88mm and the Nylons and Jazz at least 1mm to 1.5mm. They are all good pickup. For strinks I use D'Addario or Ernie Ball 9-42. I'm a light picker.

Great review. I also like these picks and use the Tortex .73mm Jazz III-XL. They're the same material but are a little more compact in size and seem to be a little less flexible than the standard size. They still have the flex but they don't give as much when you dig in. Nice Les Paul, btw.

Cool review. I've used a variety of Dunlop picks in my guitar-playing career (tortex, gel, ultex, delrin in various shapes and gauges). I have recently landed on this pick (.73mm Tortex) but in the Jazz III XL shape. For me, it is a very versatile pick that I feel comfortable with on every electric I own and their respective tuning (E standard to Drop A). If i'm looking for a very specific tone or attack then I will use a different pick; however, I find the .73mm Tortex Jazz III XL to be my go-to for most applications.
If you like(d) the standard .73mm Tortex I recommend trying the Jazz III XL shape, it's a little smaller and has a more precise tip.

Great review. I played with so many different picks as an acoustic guitarist (guitar: Taylor 310CE). When I wanna play more sensitive/quietly I usually use the (orange) Dunlop Tortex (U.S.A.) .60 MM. But when I wanna play a solo and hit certain strings heavier than the others (add more dynamics), I switch to this master pick <33. I often see people around me using thicker picks I just dont know why?!

Picks are a choice of what a person like...
I'v been playing Jazz III for more than a dacade...
To me theres non better for my fat fingers for fast play shred and in general musik where you need a lot of picking control...

You say one thing then start playing and prove you were wrong.
