I'm now 48, and I wear my wings dark and large! It makes me feel good, and it's who I am. I will not grow old gracefully. I will wear bright colors and shimmer and glitter even at age 90, till I can be seen from outer space. I love makeup and putting my face on in the mornings is one of my favorite times of the day. I won't even go to Walmart without a full face of makeup and being dressed well. (I'm posting this comment to inspire others, so I don't need any comments from trolls.) I love learning things from Cherry, and certainly the tips about foundation, concealer, and specific brushes and tools are very helpful for me! She's actually done my makeup for a pinup shoot before, so I know she knows her stuff! She made me look gorgeous!

64 here and this is the first tutorial for mature skin that has really been helpful. Applying the makeup differently on each side of her face was a great idea!

Thank you for this video! As a "mature" lady, I welcome tips and suggestions that aren't so "over the top". I am definitely going to try the concealer pencil around the lips. Love you and your beautiful model!

Every part of this was so super helpful and explained a lot of my problems! I've been doing cateye liquid liner since I was 16, but at 50 it's been surprising that long points disappear. You are a gem, keep up the great work!!!

As women of 45 age . I try keep it more on natural vintage look .
Soft eyeshadow look, a little eyeliner with just a little tiny wing . A small touch of blush . Since I wear eyeglasses mascara that give a fake eye lash . My statement piece would be a bold lips .

Thank you SO much! 43 here! The foundation tips and no shimmer / highlighter tips were super helpful! I’ve been having those exact issues. I’ve used powder foundation and a kabuki brush to apply for about 15 years and the past 3 yrs my skin's been looking course. The make-up counter ladies always give me bronzer and highlighters which just magnify the skin texture, so I apply MORE powder to cover it up 🤦‍♀️. Also the frosty dark colors I used to use in my crease totally made my eyes look baggy and crepe. I switched to a matte when I hit 40 even though the MUA's keep telling me I should use the shimmer to brighten my eyes and make them look bigger. 🙏🙏🙏

Great video. I'll be 40 this year and have already adjusted my make-up routine. Matte shadows are definitely my friends, and have adjusted to wearing medium coverage foundation that is dewy. Thank you for this video.

Thanks for this. While I agree with many things I'll have to disagree with you about shimmer on the lid. I'm 53 and a spot of shimmer on the lid definitely helps offset the hooded mature eye. (At least that's true for general makeup, I'm not an expert on pin up style of course so I could be wrong in that context). Thanks so much for doing this!!😊
