I work as a landscape designer in the Midwest. We primarily plant natives and spend lots of time ripping out invasive stuff throughout the season. It's incredible how much starts to come back once the aggressive stuff is even just removed, both in plant biodiversity and wildlife! I'd say a good chunk of the industry in my neck of the woods is trying to do more of this, which is very exciting!

When I lived in Texas, two of our neighbors had certified native wildlife habitats in their front yards. They were the most beautiful yards in the neighborhood! So happy to see your progress!

Animal Moms getting mad is so real, one time I said hi to a baby squirrel and gave it a cracker and the mom came down on the fence line and started barking at me and chased me down the line until there was no more fence 😂

SO IMPORTANT! Ppl don’t get it..overseas decorative plants wreak havoc on native fauna. Had a veg garden forever infested with purslane after great seeds ordered from a brilliant Dutch seed company. Purple loosestrife invaded all ditches & farms like tiger lilies too 😮

I pet sit for a house thats certified! Ahe's helped me to start getting birds & critters & plants going in my back yard. I have so many birds nest on my patio - its amazing! ❤
