As far as I'm concerned, Carly threw a perfect game. She had electric stuff, pinpoint control, a flawless delivery, and her will to win was palpable. She is a first ballot, unanimous Hall of Famer. The Cy Young award must be renamed after her. She has created a baseball memory for me that is indelible in my mind. She is a true champion, a true major leaguer, the personification of an All Star. Her number must be retired by all 30 teams. She is an inspiration for all future generations of those who love this grand game. A thing of beauty is a joy forever:

Carly previously threw a strike at the Orioles game a few months before this. Unfortunately for her, since that game was never televised, this is the pitch she will always be remembered by.

If that had been released properly I still think it would have gone less than 40 feet. I don't know why people that can't throw just don't toss a nice slow arching rainbow rather than trying to throw a straight fastball.

What an arm! That easily was over 100 mph! She probably got that muscle from lifting the phone up so many times.
