Sonic Pi is a FREE, open source, live coding environment based on Ruby
Developed by Sam Aaron in the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory in collaboration with Raspberry Pi Foundation.
It was originally designed to support both computing & music lessons in schools 🏫
It is a new musical instrument 🎹 that is played through the writing of code rather than the stroking of keys or strumming of strings
I played around with Sonic Pi years ago & recently revisited it. I have been creating music with it & find it quite therapeutic. 🧘🏻♀️
