Sine bottom Lee Wave simulation

Показать описание
Simulation of a lee wave (an internal gravity wave formed by unidirectional stably stratified flow over topography) above a sinusoid. The two nondimensional numbers that determine the characteristics of the flow are Juice=Nh/U and Epsilon=Uk/N, where N and U are the background buoyancy frequency and horizontal velocity, while h and k are the height and wavenumber of the topography. In this simulation, J=0.4 and Epsilon=0.063. The simulation was generated using SUNTANS, which is a non-hydrostatic Navier Stokes solver (Fringer et al. 2006).
