Marc Seaberg (eigtl. Franz Seeberger, also as Mark Sommer) is a German singer.

Marc Seaberg began playing music in some beat bands in the mid-1960s. Towards the end of the 1970s he released several LPs and singles. Among them is the original of the title Looking for Freedom, produced by Jack White. It reached number 16 in the German charts. This title appeared on the album California Gold. Herwig Mitteregger was on the drums. Looking for Freedom became a hit in 1989 in David Hasselhoff's version. The title was also sung by Tony Marshall.

In 1980 the album Feeling So High was released. In 1982 he released the album Never Give It Up as Marc Seaberg & Lipstick. All albums were released by Ariola.

Since 2007, Marc Seaberg has been singing in a Regensburg '60s revival band called The Mystic Eyes. He runs the "Star-Club" in Erlangen.

I've heard they called him Shorty...and he never lived to be 40... (I suspect not only was that because he was a criminal but more importantly because shorty unfortunately also rhymed with forty) ...1:12
