Hi Mimi ! It's crazy how you can relate with people that you've never met, and who lives in a complete different country, because right now, I feel like I'm in the same path as you. I'm taking some time off my studies, which was exactly what I wanted and needed so I'm really really glad and lucky to do so, but sometimes, I do feel some guilt because I'm "doing nothing". Wich is so untrue ! I'm so busy living my life the way I want and so happy to do so, and even if I was just laying in bed for a bit, it's okay, because we all need to take some time for us, to heal and get better. I think that society as a big part in that, especially on us, the young adults, because we are always pushed to "do something". Studies or work, because if not, we're useless as human, we're not profitable, and we're late on whatever we are required to do or to be. Social media are also a real poison with the comparison that comes from if. But in the same time, people always tell you to make the most of this precious time that is your early twenties. So personnaly I sometimes find it hard to enjoy the present when you're stressed on the futur, and stressed to not make the most of this present time.
Anyway, all of that to say that it's okay to not know what to do or to be. Actually I think this is exacly what life is suppose to be, you figure it while living it, nobody knows where we're heading to, and that's the beauty of it. We need to be kind with ourselves, to accept to be patient on life and with us.
I really love your videos and songs. I've been following you since you were 16 or 17, (I'm a 2001 baby too) and after all these years I feel like we're almost friends even though, again we've never met. I sometimes go back watching old videos of yours, I love the vibe of them, always very sunny and warm and conforting. They take me back to a really nice place, it's like a nostalgic hug.
