2/13/24 Comments: Catalyst still is a great legend although she has had some nerfs over the seasons. She also now has legend upgrades!

CHANGES TO CATALYST SINCE THE LAUNCH OF THIS VIDEO:

Season 20:

- Ultimate Lifetime decreased to 15s (was 25s)
- Ultimate Length decreased to 40m (was 55m)
- She now has legend upgrades.

Season 18:
Ultimate cooldown increased to 150S (From 120S)

Season 17:
Scan Highlights & Diamonds are no longer visible through the Dark Veil.

Season 16:
No Legend changes. She is now a Controller Legend meaning she can ping recon beacons.

Post S15 Launch:
Seers passive heartbeat sensor no longer works through Catalysts Ultimate Wall.

Octane stim counter?: No
Like they showed these in the trailer but it didn't happen

Catalysts ultimate needs to be changed so it COMPLETELY counters scans

She needs her tactical buffed from 2 traps to 3. She’s the only defensive legend that doesn’t have 3 charges for her tactical. Also feel like the wall should go up a bit faster. Feels like it takes forever starting up.

I have to say that my least favorite interaction in the game rn is Maggie’s wrecking ball bouncing off of reinforced doors. Makes no sense to me at all lol especially since grenades and damage abilities break it

When she was released for some reason I thought she could fortify other structures like newcastles ult and ramparts tactical

Changes I’d love to see:
1. Her Tactical no more slows teammates (Wattsons electricity doesnt stun teammates)
2. Wall counters scans that already happened as wall goes up and any scans that want to go through
3. If she can have 3 traps down, why not 3 doors max trapped as well
4. Ability to Rotate her tactical, maybe right click for rotation
5. Stronger slow on spikes/more consistent damage, people stay on it or walk through it like it aint even there( I tested it, in 10 fights I had, in every single one where I had my spikes down, enemies walked/jumped over it or stayed in it for few secs and it was no threat for them)

Catalysts ult needs to change from straight on to sideways so when you toss it you can actually set up a wall that blocks off the enemy

Even if I would play as catalyst, she could be my top favorite character. Same with bloodhound. I could imagine that apex legends would have a mass effect crossover event in the near future. BTW, I like TDM and control in apex.
