Lovely green machine, born in the Summer of Love just like me. Thanks for the view, take care and God bless.

Thank you for saying “Oldsmobile” not “Ozemobile.” Really nice car.

This is a beautiful example of this car. Although these weren't the fastest or the best handling they were a very good Interstate Highway car. They could take a good beating for many years and keep coming back for more. I agree Jeff, the "A" body cars were really good no matter what brand.

Oh damn, this car brings back memories. My uncle had one of these, same color, year, brand new, and my memories are fond of him taking me and my brothers out in it when we were kids. I can still remember that 1960s GM new car smell, and his '69 Cutlass had it.

A body GM cars are very nice. And of course this Oldsmobile is sweet....My favorite of the A body GMs is the Buick GS/Skylark. Thanks for posting!

This very car went to Maple motors and had a set of factory rallye wheels added,
it is a decent unit for sure

Who would have thought that we would would see the day where Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Mercury, Plymouth would all be gone. My dad said the same thing about Packard, Hudson.

I love the GM A bodies as well. This Cutlass is one beautiful car. I know it would be crazy to modify it, but it sure would make a great sleeper car.

....nice one, Jeff...this one's the base Cutlass in Meadow Green Metallic...pretty basiic interior vinyl with AM radio, crank windows....but this would have been the sales leader, for sure...
...not sure of the exact production numbers were for '69; but Olds was well on its way to the era when Cutlass was the no. 1 seller of any car...
P.S.... nice '55 Plymouth Savoy in Black and turqoise hanging out in the background...

Please please do a el Camino 🙏🙏 it is my favorite car. I have looked at them on the web site but my parents don’t have the time to drive me up and look at one. It would be very appreciated.🙏🙏

These were very good cars - I had two of those, a'69 and a '72, back in the '80's - very reliable cars - one important note, however - if the wheel bearings have never been replaced, be sure to replace them when the car reaches 100k miles, just to be on the safe side....

these are my kind of cars... survivors, base models... not too many bells and whistles... as usual, Jeff does a great job taking us thru them.

With all the attention given to muscle cars, it's great to once in a while see a nice original like this that was more mainstream. Thanks for sharing! BTW, I noticed a 1972 GMC Sprint at the beginning of the video and I would love it if you can do a video of that one.

I had this same car as a kid in high school and of course at that time I put air shocks and big fat tires in the back, duel exhaust with headers and let me tell you this cutlass with the 350 rocket 4 bbl suprised many mustang 5.0 gts ! It had a 12 bolt limited slip diff from the same year 442 I got from a junkyard and it would lay a patch of rubber down until you let off the gas lol miss that car!
