Mike do you use the razor blade scrapers as is or do you do any edge preparation?
Also, I was watching carefully how you manipulated the razor angle as you followed the curved sides, is it just under 90 degrees in the direction of your scraping motion?
Great skills and knowledge thanks for teaching us.

Wish we could have seen you removing the back .. assuming you did that by heating binding all around the back to soften the glue??? Also why is it so important to scrape the inside of the sides with the razor blade? Does it affect the final tone of the guitar or is it something else? Thanks Mike.

Hello, Mike! Cool repair on the Gibson. It is reminiscent of the effect of a California reset, when you consider that what you are doing is also correcting the angle of the sides at the neck. One question: why did you add rosewood to the edge of the back, rather than mahogany? Easier to get the correct color match to the stained mahogany? Thanks!

Hello Mike! A good Sunday morning to you from Missouri! Love your to-the-point vids! Nice approach on the '46! What is your reason for not using a larger scraper on the sides of your build?
