And remember boy's and Do NOT try to take that nut out of the socket with your fingers. OK OK, please don't ask me why I am sharing this with you. 🤣😝🤣

I bought one about 2 years ago. So much better than lugging the torches across the shop. Works great

That’s a nice tool, a little trick when trying to break free a really stubborn bolt or bearing, shaft. Etc is too get it hot, then pour or spray a little water on it for some reason it helps to shock the metal or something…

Loved this tool when I worked at a Jeep shop, really came in handy in those tight spots nobody thinks to wash out after slinging mud all over the place!

I have a 600 watt miniductor for my personal use. Just talked the boss into getting one for work, the 1800 watt from kimball midwest. There is times a torch will melt things you dont want like wires and hoses where this will not. Definitely a tool everyone should have.

I remember having a bearing heater 15-20 years ago at an electric motor shop, and how simple it made slipping bearings on output shafts, and I always wondered why they didn't make a version of this magnetic heater for bolts....glad to see it's a common tool now.

Great tool my father worked at one time 30 plus years ago in a exhaust shop he would have loved this tool. Less mess and actually safer even with the heat it generates.

I get a lot of rusty bolt removal type jobs in my machine shop,
I always heat the whole problem area up and spray with pb or kroil, then come back awhile later and usually have success, vs goin cold and snapping bolts off. That's a great tool, usually I get already rusted sheared off bolts to extract though.
I call it the magic moment when the surrounding part get just hot enough that you see bubbles coming out as the penetrant seeps in.

i remember my mechanic instructor was showing us his tool and he demonstrated the safety of it since it uses electricity to heat things up. He put his finger in the space, held it there for a couple minutes, then put it onto a fender bolt and we all watched it glow red hot.

Looks a hell of a lot nicer than rollin the torch bottles across the shop and havin heat everywhere you dont need it
