when pop artists rap on songs they don't put them into the urban category.

They dont accept you especially when you are different. They use these words to try and put you in box. Tyler to me was the best thing I seen on the Grammys and I respect him a lot for everything he said and he had the best performance.

Tyler isn’t one to cry over racism. He is pointing out a good point imho, why tittle it Urban? That’s strange lol. It makes the award seem like “another category” which is dumb and deceiving.

To be honest, the first time I heard him say this I thought, “oh come off it, ” but the more I thought about it, the more I realised that he really does have a valid point here.

Well the R&B charts used to be called the "black singles chart". So yeah... also since that was the name of that chart and the name has changed so much over the years I assumed the all might Hot 100 was the "white singles" chart.

As long as you keep accepting the “unplugged controller”, that’s all you will ever get.

I listen to Oloff whenever I need therapy. Yeah, I could pay $300 an hour for some college clown to tell me what to feel, or I could just smash great big fucking coconuts on my head and listen to my favourite artist over and over again.

Oloff is the biggest sensation since Hitler. Except this time it's in a good way.

His album creatively speaking wasn’t a typical pop album in any sense of the word

Is he a pop artist though ? I would put his music in the rap category but... I dont know.. he's his own brand, almost like indie and rap combination

Alesanascreamokid

Well what category should he's music be in? Indie rap?

But Igor isn't merely as popular as any of the nominated pop albums. He wouldn't have won anything.

What?
Isn't Beyonce one of the people with more grammys ever? And she's not in the "urban" field.
