Malaysian shopping malls have roller coasters!

Today is New Years Day and, unlike back home, all the shops in Kuala Lumpur are open and bustling!

Kuala Lumpur is known for it’s shopping malls, and after today we can see why! We managed to visit Low Yat Plaza, Pavillion, KLCC, and Berjaya Times Square, all within a short walking distance of one another. These four shopping malls will let you browse bargain price electronics, high end designer brands, numerous food courts, movie theatres, and even a ROLLER COASTER!

If you’re trying to get out of the rain or beat the heat then we definitely recommend heading to this area and spending the day mall-hopping.

We said goodbye to our jobs, sold all our belongings, and left Australia on a one-way ticket to Shanghai with just each other and our backpacks! When we started this trip we decided to make travel vlogs to share our journey with our friends and family back home. Even as a Malaysian I have to say sellers are abit more "aggresive" at Low Yat. Anyway, its ok to just smile and reply "Hello/Hi" and then walk on.

If u're on a "shoe string budget" maybe u guys should try Petaling Street or Chow kit, also have a look at "Pasar Road" but be prepared to bargin if u guys don't want to stay at home, and hope Brexit not too painful?
