Gingerbread house 🎄 christmas village made from cardboard!

This is how I made an entire gingebread house christmas village using only cardboard! I think this is a great idea for a less wasteful and easy christmas diy project, and also great for entertaining kids.

YAY! The underwear on the house just makes it that much more AWESOME! I am going to make one only it is going to be a castle with towers. I tend to try to do things slightly above my skill level also but I find that fun. Mine will have a balcony also, so thanks for that idea! I made my mom some soldiers out of clay pots a couple of years ago and they definitely need a castle to live in! With a princess to rescue. I will probably do the underwear thing ON PURPOSE just because I find it hilarious, so double thanks for that too! Haa! Have a great holiday season this year. 😁

Ive wanted a gingerbread village and other gingerbread things in my kitchen for years im finally do it. Thanks for the wonderful ideas. Love the idea of it being collapsible. Thinking maybe of using tape but cant figure out how to cover cut edges. Maybe white paint and put a design right beside it.

when I did this as a kid, we used puffy paint. since it's cardboard, will you be keeping this from year to year?
