The 2 thumbs down are seriously mentally deranged. Maybe they thought the band were light-weights.

Savoy, Savoy, Savoy, Savoy

Your form just like a clinging vine,
Your lips so warm and sweet as wine,
Your cheek so soft and close to mine, divine.

How my heart is singing,
While the guys is swinging,
I'm never tired of romping,

And stomping with you at the Savoy.
What joy - a perfect holiday,
Savoy, where we can glide and sway,
Savoy, let me stomp away with you.

Great to see Nat going back to his roots and swinging with Oscar, Herb, Jo, Stan, Hawk and Roy and I think that Ray Brown was there too, but I did not see him. A truly stellar line up which delivers. Nat was an influence on Oscar along with Art, of course.

I love the use of brushes on the drums. It's really a lost art, or nearly so. But It's a far more subtle and emotive style that can really add heart to a song. And of course, Nat is on-point with the vocals! The whole band is outstanding!

My mom used to go to Savoy in Harlem loved to hear her tell me about that. Love to hear this song. I wish they were both alive.

Wow What a line -up of 'heavy" players. I never knew there were any lyrics to that tune.

Can someone list the entire personnel? Obviously, there is Stan Getz and Coleman Hawkins on tenor saxes, and looks like Joe Jones on drums. Is the trumpet player Roy Eldridge? At first I thought the piano player looked like Oscar Peterson, but later like Errol Garner. Couldn't see the bassist.
