It’s funny i saw this because i literally had a situation today where i needed to get from Eb to E, and I was struggling to set up my dominant B7 coming from an Eb. The Eb was the fifth chord in a chromatic descending fifths starting in gm, so what I did was make Eb an Eb7/Db, but instead of going to Bb, I resolved the Db to a C natural and reinterpreted the Bb as A# to set up a Gr+6 into the B7. I was very pleased with myself after working that one out.
