An Egyptologist reacts to “Will the Real Pharaoh of the Exodus Please Stand Up?”

Archaeologist Steve Collins says that determining who is the Pharaoh of the exodus depends upon one seldom asked question. In this reaction video, we will evaluate Collin’s claims to see if they are consistent with the known evidence.

Correction: In this video, I say that Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary is a degree mill. It has been pointed out to me that TCBTS is seeking accreditation. They have not achieved that yet; however, there is every indication that they are changing their ways. Nevertheless, in 1983, when Steve Collins "earned" his PhD, TCBTS was a degree mill. And eventual accreditation by TCBTS would not redeem that a PhD that was awarded in its degree mill days.

It’s frustrating how the Evangelical Church seems enamored by “good stories” based on incomplete pseudo-historical biases. Especially when you consider how carefully OT & NT authors preserved and corroborated historical information into their texts millennia ago.
