Welcome to the Heavy Spoilers show, I'm your host Paul aka Baby Yolo and this video we're breaking down the best fan theories on the Galaxy's biggest genocidal maniac.

That is Baby Yoda.

Though we're two seasons into The Mandalorian, there's still very little that we know about him beyond his desire to eat every endangered species in The Star Wars Universe. However, we've pieced together what could be going on with The Child due to the things that we have confirmed about the expanded universe.

The last time I did a deep dive on the character was before the release of The Rise Of Skywalker but now that the closing chapter to the sequel saga is out in the open we can pretty much gather that he was never given over to the Rebels, Leia, Rey or Luke.

Now there are several decades between the events of The Mandalorian and The Force Awakens, however as he was never part of the rebels that we encountered in any of the trilogy, we do know that if Mando ever came across them then they didn't hang around for very long.

That doesn't completely rule out an interaction with Luke Skywalker, however as the character was pretty much a hermit for a vast majority of time, he likely didn't encounter the creature either.

So, I think it is a pretty safe assumption to make that if the child did end up with it's own people then this was likely on the outer rim, far away from The Empire and First Order.

Now before he became an entire Mood that reduced people online to tears, the creature was referred to as The Asset, a high-value target that was extremely sought after by a mysterious, imperial figure known as The Client.

We discovered in Season 1 that it was actually Moff Gideon that was after the child and because of this we can gather that The Imperial Forces knew of Baby Yoda and likely had something to do with either his creation or the reason he had to go into hiding. As we know, The Child has a tracking device within it that someone would have had to have placed there and as the Imperials have access to this I think it's easy to connect the dots here.

The Client seemed very Blaise about whether The Mandalorian had to bring it in alive, and he only stopped to suggest another option at the insistence of his ally, Dr. Pershing. Thus we can assume that The Client views it as disposable which could indeed hint toward's it's origins.

Now upon arriving at the asset, The Mandalorian discovered that there were several other bounty hunters in the area were after it. This included IG-11 voiced by Taiki Waiti and later ones that look like they come from the same species as Bossk.

Episode Two of Season 2 also had a group of bounty hunters trying to take it in and these were likely hired by Moff Gideon who, as we know, is still after the child.

Now though we don't know the identity of the baby just yet, we do know that it is 50 years into a roughly 900-year lifespan and that it comes from the same species as Yoda.

We don't actually know the name of Yoda's species and whilst several sources list them as being called Lanniks, George Lucas has often refuted this, stating that he wants the race to remain a mystery.

When discussing Yoda's origins in an interview with Moviefone, Lucas said:

The child was born at the same time as Anakin Skywalker. Thereby bringing balance to the Force.

So you assume Mando gave him back to his people, because he doesn't show up in the sequel trilogy. Well another conclusion could be that Din Djarin never found the kid's people, or at least he found their location but didn't return him, so he decided to raise him Mandalorian.

Solution: Disney just makes the new star wars trilogy non-canon and makes a new one with a grown baby yoda and new cast.

Baby yoda becomes a mandalorian grey Jedi trained by Asoka, that would be the dopest solution

The Child / Asoka force World Between Worlds spin off where they repair the time line Avengers Endgame style and the Child force chokes Rey to death and the sequel trilogy never happens

I think its great seeing the spoiler speculation and break down of all possible outcomes that make sense and which we end up with.

I think Gus wants to clone Baby yoda to make a force sensitive army he can control.

I have a theory about Mandalorian that I'm not sure anyone has discussed. As we are aware, "Baby Yoda" will be (presumably) just beginning to enter an adult age when The Mandalorian (the character...not the show) is nearing the end of his life. Some have speculated that Mando will be his guardian as a baby, and we may never see his adult form due to the differential in their age/species.

However, I believe that at some point, possibly at the end of this season (although that may be too early) the Mandalorian will be captured and frozen in Carbonite for several decades, allowing Baby Yoda's aging to catch up to his a bit, at least to the point that he may become "Young Teenage Yoda". At that point, he would have been trained by...Asoka (before she died, whenever that is) as well as any other force user they deem worthy.

Although I don't agree with what I'm about to write (gulp), they could even incorporate Sequel Trilogy characters from that point forward (I hope I'm wrong there).

Think about it from 2 perspectives....Firstly, the Showrunners: creators want a character to have a natural "arc" throughout their series. Unfortunately, if he remained as a non-communicative infant, Baby Yoda's character arc would be practically nonexistent.

Now, from a merchandising standpoint (Disney): you can only milk the "Baby Yoda" character so much before it becomes oversaturated. We're seeing this currently, as merchandise is crowding store shelves everywhere. Toy Stores. Department stores. Neighborhood pharmacies (cvs/walgreens/etc). I even saw a whole shelf of Baby Yoda toys at the gas station I stop at on my way home from work (and it's a small privately owned business). When the market dries up, something will have to change. So...imagine if Baby Yoda is a bit older, and brandishing a lightsaber. We saw the evidence that they may go that route (in Season 2 episode 1) as they were hacking apart the Krayt Dragon, showing us the "pearl".

So, how do we fast forward his age while keeping the Mandalorian's age the same? Stick the Mando in the ol' Carbonite freezer!! He's already a wanted man....Boba Fett loves him some Carbonite captives, too. Plus, Mando has a Carbonite machine equipped on his ship.

Obviously, none of this is certain. We don't even know if he will ever age in the show, instead electing to stay as the mischievous, overarching McGuffin of the serialized plot. But...it would be bad ass to see the Mandalorian being frozen in a season finale, only to have a Jabba-palace style jailbreak open up the following season premiere, with "not-baby-anymore" Yoda brandishing a lightsaber!!

You've been slowly transitioning over the last few weeks from the definition persona to being yourself (Paul) and I love it, adds a more human element to the channel!

My guess is that Doctor Strange found multiple universes, aka the mutliverse, then found out about the Jedi. Since Baby Yoda is too young to walk, he recruited Doc Brown and Marty to fly their Delorean in and pick Yoda up as a child, so he could defeat the Covenant and save Master Chief.

50 years into a 900 year lifespan is 1/18.
1/18 of a 90 year lifespan is 5 years old.

The Child is no doubt Yoda's long lost grandson.

The Yaddle story line is the easiest to sell and I hope they go that route. No jokes. It's a good story line and much better than vats of Yodas brewing in some silly hidden planet.
