I love this. I have noticed recently even in my own circle that there seems to be this attitude that you have to wear a skimpy swimsuit in order to prove that you love, appreciate, and accept your body. I am a person who wants to look my best and that means knowing what looks good on me and what simply doesn’t. I don’t feel like that means I hate or don’t accept my body. That’s why I love your channel. You can be body positive and still choose not to wear things that don’t help you look your best.

I love me a good swim-dress because I hate showing my crotch... lol. I did find an adorable vintage-style two-piece on amazon. The top is an empire-style waist swim-dress with little 'hotpants' style bottoms.

I like white bathing suits, it’s the only color lighter than my pasty skin! They are surprisingly difficult to find. I can’t be bothered with fake tanning and I’m not sure I really like it, anyway. I only need a swimsuit about once per decade, I’m not a water person and the beaches where I live are too cold, except for walks with a jacket.

Thanks for a great video! I noticed that Kelli's favorite is a La Blanca suit. I am also loving the La Blanca brand suits! They really are very flattering and slimming, especially across the tummy area :) A little pricey, but the difference is real :) They are worth it!

I look forward to watching your videos but when it comes to swimsuits I haven't found that there are any that work for me. Why aren't there any videos where women show swimsuits that cover their legs? I wish I could embrace or just ignore my cellulite, but I can't. I will never wear anything that shows my legs, but I still want to get in the pool, beach, or lake. I was desperate for something different that didn't make me self conscious and I finally found something perfect for me! The top is just a regular off the shoulder bathing suit and the bottoms are actual swimsuit pants with an attached ruched skirt. I love it. If it's possible to attach a pic, I will.
