I lost my dad in June, he was a huge music man and we connected so much with lyrics. To the last month he would make cassettes (yes in 2022) for everything, like a lyrical diary. I just found this one labeled first hospital visit - music therapy and discovered this song along with others that are about him knowing his time was coming. The last time he was with my mom he just kept saying i’m sorry, he didn’t want to leave us and we just miss him so much.
