Supercharged 572 Hemi Challenger SRT8 - Craven Performance

This has to be the meanest modern Challenger that I've seen yet. This wicked machine is being built by Craven Performance in St. Peters, Missouri. They brought it out to Mega Mopar weekend at Gateway Motorsports Park today, so I decided to take a closer look. This beast is powered by a fuel-injected, 10-71 Supercharged, 572 Hemi, that is expected to make in excess of 1200 horsepower on the dyno. They just fired this car up for the first time a couple of days ago, so it hasn't seen any dyno time yet. I'll definitely keep you posted on what happens next with this car. Don't get me wrong, I love cars with twin turbos but if you are gonna build a modern day muscle car. You gotta go supercharger, especially a roots type. Just look at this beast that is all the proof you need.

That's an enormous supercharger on that engine. The supercharger alone probably gives a 300-450 HP boost. This whole engine block had to cost around 19k.

I'm surprised how well that massive engine fits in that engine bay. Doesn't look like it needed any modification, other than a hood cut out, and obviously engine mounts.
