I noticed that mostly beginners use a lot of these "helping" plugins but the guys that do that for a longer period of time mostly use "simple" things and just use their ears. I think it's just development, first you try to find the magical piece of equipment but after a while you realize that it comes to the old saying: it's in your ear, not in the gear
