Power of Our Stories II: Intergenerational Trauma

Elizabeth Rosner will guide us towards an understanding of what intergenerational trauma is and lead our panelists Phong Huynh and Rachael Cerrotti in a discussion. We will hear about the direct effect that inherited trauma has had on them, their families and how it has served as a motivating factor in their lives.

Bestselling novelist, poet, and essayist living in Berkeley, California. Daughter of a Holocaust survivor and author of SURVIVOR CAFE: the Legacy of Trauma and the Labyrinth of Memory.
Phong Huynh, Panelist
Deloitte Consulting LLP principal based in the Costa Mesa, CA. As an infant, Phong immigrated with his parents and two older brothers to the United States among the first wave of Vietnamese boat people.
Rachael Cerrotti, Panelist
Writer, photographer, educator and granddaughter of a Holocaust survivor. She currently works as an audio producer and digital storyteller with USC Shoah Foundation and released a podcast — We Share The Same Sky. Her book of the same name is being released in fall 2021.
