Tiger's 7-iron from the rough in the 2000 US Open is THE greatest shot - EVER - on this hole!

So… We’re gonna just forget about that time when Tiger hit a 7-iron from the right rough en route to a 15 shot victory?

I'm with the guy asking about the tree on the right. I know a storm dropped one on the 18th. Same storm??

I guess you don't own the rights to Tiger's 7-iron from the rough, 2000 Open?

Wow! Look at all those great shots by top players at Pebble Beach! The famous 6th, the even more famous 7th next! Great to see this, since it probably won't happen again. Thanks to the big appearance fee money dangled to play in a Arabic country golf resort halfway across the world at this time of year instead, cha-ching!! Yet AT&T is charging 90 bucks( 80 for the tic, 10 to ticketmaster....) a day for general admission! Only Spiethy and Cantlay are in the field this year, no other top ranked players, none. Defending champ Berger and white hot Zalatoris were late scratches, fan fave Huey Lewis too! Not even Phil, where his Grandad caddied. Where he's won 5 times and loves Pebble! This legendary party/tournament used to be a really great time, before money ruined it. The key to having a good time there now is to play a few rounds at all the great courses in the Monterey area and go to the tournament only one day....like I'm doing this year.

Thats too bad they weren’t allowed to feature Shaun Micheel’s albatross at the 2012 U.S. Open.

That 2nd shot is impossible. There is nothing to aim at. Just the sky. Unless the stands are set up.

All those wonderful approaches and only two eagle putts landed, according to this. I've had better shots on this par 5...on WGT.

My only criticism of this video. It is all approach shots, yes one that provide eagle chances, but still all approaches. Must be some other great shots here besides approaches.

Scott Kirkwood must resign from Monterey Peninsula country club. He has caused me and many of his coworkers (and at other golf courses) mental anguish. If Scott’s family knew the extent of his behavior and how he treats his coworkers in the workplace they would be ashamed and disappointed. He told me the reason why everyone is quitting MPCC is because they didn’t want to make the country club better. How delusional does that sound? He says that he’s helped many people advance their careers, but how many people has he forced out, or how many people has he manipulated to get want he wants? Those are the real questions. He has a domineering personality and should never be in any position of power. The complaints keep piling up and the GM and HR only believe Scott’s word. JJ West (GM) and Jennifer from HR have turned a blind eye towards his behavior, which makes them cowards and part of the problem for not doing the right thing. They would much rather sell more dog collars and more dog bowls than to have happy employees working there. Turnover rate is through the roof directly because of Scott.
