Oh gods...gotta tell the short story. Back in 1979 to 83 we used to live in Alabama, on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay, in an unincorporated part of the county. We had a two car glassed in garage, now called a Florida room, with it's own independent heat and air. We had cut down trees secured in there for the cats to climb on and claw, and we had some old used furniture. We also had twenty litter boxes. LOL. The nearest humane society was 16 miles away across the bay and clear on the other side of Mobile. Word got around the local area that we took in cats. We would feed them up, take them to the vets, get them fixed, and then advertise in the paper for free cats. We got rid of more than a few that way. Locals also donated cat food and litter to us. But then my dad made the mistake of letting our one active male out of his area and in with a bunch of females we hadn't had fixed yet number, seemingly overnight, jumped from 13 females to, all together, 49 cats. And we found out shortly after that we had to move to Florida. We moved 49 cats in a 27 food Winnebago motor home. LOL. My dad joked that he got more piles to the mile. Once we got to Florida we dropped off all but our core cats to the local humane society which, at the time, was a no kill facility. They told us that the cats were all, to the last one, adopted within less than a month. Over time those core cats we kept died of old age, but we do what we can for the local homeless cats. I just had to laugh over this video. He had all of the kittens in cages I saw. We didn't have but one cage at the time. LOL.

My Doberman adores kittens and when I bring them home from the farm she takes care of them like her own. She listeners intently to this entire video and whined because she wanted the kittens lol

The best part in this ep was when Jackson played his guitar for the kittens. So cute, my mom was actually thinking of getting a friend of ours from the Bahamas to get us another cat from the Bahamas (my first cat is from a shelter in the Bahamas)

How many pets get better care, and how many feral, strays, and former house cats in need get help because of people like these. So heartwarming and inspiring.
