This set is quite special for several reasons:

As it is not a main room set at a big festival where the light show is planned down to the second and the two also play B2B, the mixing is nowhere near as precise as you are used to at their other performances. I am writing this from a DJ perspective and it is - in my opinion - a very good thing, as the two really perform live without knowing each other's tracks.

The second thing I noticed is that Armin still follows everything that can be remotely assigned to the areas of Trance & Progressive and on precisely such occasions he incorporates this knowledge into the track selection (the same applies to the brilliant ASOT warm-up sets a few years ago). I also find this circumstance extremely positive and it is also reflected in my last observation - the two and the audience are clearly having a lot of fun - and that's what it's all about!
