Some crucial developments have taken place in the Middle East in the last few days which has significant ramifications.
Iran’s proxy Hezbollah's most senior military commander Fuad Shukr, and one of Hamas’s top leaders Ismail Haniyeh have been eliminated.
Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior Iranian political and military officials said Iran is going to retaliate for Haniyeh's assassination.
Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah has also vowed to respond to the Israeli airstrike in Beirut that killed his top military adviser.
The Iranian government has unfurled a red flag of revenge on the dome of the Jamkaran Mosque in Qom.
American assessments indicate that an attack is imminent.  The big question is how this will play out in the coming days.

Iran has to be careful because Israel could put Iran out of the oil business.

Hamas picks a bar fight and then cries in their beer when Gaza is turned into a gravel pit. Iran might want to think twice about picking a fight. The US doesn’t really have much control over Israel when it comes to dictating its reactions.

Iran has a 1960s air force, Israel is 50 years ahead of Iran's air force. Israel is 20 years ahead of Iran's drone technology, Israel is 20 years ahead of Iran's missile technology. Israel is 30 years ahead of Iran in air defense technology. How will Iran win?

I like the implication that Isreal, for some reason, now has to just wait for Iran to make the next move. LOL. Nope.

Iranian agents have gone to Japan to undergo ninja training to become invisible or disappear into thin air. But, how to remain invisible when leaving Iran for Israel is a moot point.

Iran came a long way from owning and operating proxies against Israel to becoming Israel's proxy.😂😂

Because Iran at the end of the day is no match for Israel 1v1

During the Iran Iraq war the Iranian Air Force struck out of reach targets by (ab)using Syrian Air Space (possibly with tacit aproval of the Assad regime). If this would work against a far more modern oponent is a different question.

"Hezbollah and Houthis who are much closer to Israel" - true with regard to Hezbollah in Lebanon, but the Houthis in Yemen are just as far away as Iran.
Iran's only serious capability (which is indeed serious) is its missiles and drones. It's one of the world's leading countries in this - its 'defense' is entirely dedicated causing damage, mainly to infrastructures and civilians. It will be able to cause serious damage, no doubt. On the other hand, it has pretty zero defense capabilities, so Israel's retaliation (in the even it retaliates) will most likely hurt Iran more than Iran will hurt Israel. When Iran launched 300 missiles, only one girl in Israel was seriously injured (she since recovered), and some damage was caused to some runways in air force bases. Israel in response fired only one missile (according to some accounts, two with one missile aborted) and hit and destroyed a S-300 radar.
