Cleaning your SIGG bottle - SIGG Hot & Cold

We always recomend to wash your bottle before first use.

Open your bottle and unscrew the lip with the tea filter.

During this time you can clean the rest of parts. Take out the tea filter of the lip and if you have used it empty the filter in the garbage bin. Rinse the tea filter with a cleaning brush or sponge.

We recommend you to take out sometimes the gaskets of the top for a better cleaning.

After 30 min. you can rinse the inside of your bottle and wash it thoroughly with warm water and store it open so the all the parts can dry completely.

Now you just have to enjoy again of your SIGG Hot & Cold bottle!!

I use diswasher *tablets* on your metal hot/cold bottle - work just as well as the special cleaning tablets.

How do you clean the sippy lid though? There's a large plastic chamber that it's impossible to get into to clean?!?! (diswasher tablets leach flavour into plastics so I don't want to use those - even washing up liquid does that).

I bought 2 of these, almost every time I unscrewed the top the lip came out as well, then the lip on one of them broke so I emailed Sigg about possibly buying a replacement, no reply, not at all impressed with Sigg quality or their customer service.
