So for my understanding: you are calling a imgGenerateAPI(if thats openAI stuff, stableDiffusion, LeonardoAI, etc. is beside the point), then calling that same api every 3 sec for an update until its done? Is there a better way to implement this with say a webhook or something the like?

Man I used this stack on a recent MVP project. I'm not really sure how I feel about it to be honest. I found I still had to write a lot of js for client side animations, models, etc. And with hx-boost, there was an added layer of complexity there that felt a bit clunky. But at the same time, I love having so much of my logic server side in Go. I can't wait for WASM to mature and give us a complete browser api to work with in Go (or any other statically typed language). That'll be the day. Awesome content Anthony!

Why don't you just use hx-trigger="every 3s" and then return non-200 status code if the image is not yet available?
