Amazing, my Moto G turned its back on me during groceries and i forgot my wallet home. Came home and searched on YT on the fix. What about the android bootloader method?:
Hold the power, and both volume buttons until you see a black screen. When that happens after about 2 seconds you should see a android laying on the ground with his chestplate open. When that happens, scroll with your volume buttons down to "Power Off". That should (hopefully) end the boot loop.

What the... All my buttons were working fine I had tried fast boot and recovery mode to no sucess but putting the phone on its side, tapping the power button hard 3 times and restarting it worked!!!

It might have been because of the rubbing method or all the methods combined up until 4:40. Also my phone was a Motorola G9 Play and this video has my approval.
