Northern Michigan University’s School of Nursing prepares students to excel in a variety of hospital and community settings. You will acquire expert knowledge, technical competence and interpersonal skills. Our nursing curriculum is one of the most diverse in the Midwest. Admission into the nursing program is highly competitive, and students are required to apply for acceptance after having successfully completed a series of prerequisite courses, including human anatomy and physiology, chemistry, psychology, growth and development, medical microbiology and nutrition.
