Racing pigeons are faster than peregrine falcons in horizontal flight. The falcons only chance to catch a racing pigeon is to dive. No bird is safe when they dive.

Pigeons can outfly Peregrins. They are partners in Evolution. I love them all 💪🥰

peragrines only have a 30% strike rate on a dive and that is on a normal wild/feral rock dove/pigeon, id imagine theyd have a harder time with pigeons bred for racing
