Dream SMP vs Origins SMP // Official Animatic

Dream SMP vs Origins SMP animatic. This revolves around a head cannon (by Smajor) that OSMP is the future/ AU of the DSMP, and I decided to explore that.

For context, this is like a comparison of the more ominous past of the the DSMP character (sort of cannon) and how they came to peace later which lead to the creation of the OSMP. Also dream went to start a new life away from the OSMP characters.
To clear things up and the orbs were where they got their powers from (so it’s like they were the ‘chosen one’). Any questions about art or this head cannon you can ask in the comments and I’ll see if it’s worth replying to ;)

This took over 85h to complete...and I don't think I'd do smth like this any time soon, also I have a twitter where I occasionally post art :) [Might also open commissions in the future] so follow me there for extra content and updates from me!

I love this and it hurts. The idea of them forgetting but evolving, leaving behind their pain and trauma but also their memories to create a new world that has the chance to be better. And dream who helped bring about this new world choosing to leave it because he carries the burden of the past. Plus old friends meeting again for the first time and continuing a long friendship they never know about.

this is super cool! the coloring is so pretty and the parallels between servers are pretty neat :D
im currently writing a short story where origins takes place before dream smp. the people of origins live in peace until a strange green man comes and starts hunting the hybrids, determined to take their non-human abilities for himself. most escape, but later show up in a new land, with no memories of their previous life, and some with at least hints of their old forms (cranboo's ender-ness, ctubbos love of bees, cphils wings, etc). dream shows up again, but since the dsmp is long after osmp, he doesnt realize these were the people whose lives he destroyed.

We need crossovers of the dream smp and origins smp. Or even more insanely, a tales from the smp episode using the origins made that heavily alludes but never states that it takes place in the origin smp timeline
