Just as Mayweather vs Pacquiao needed to happen for boxing history, so _too_ Rousey vs Justino needs to happen for MMA history. It has _nothing_ to do will the UFC bantamweight championship. The UFC was willing to have Rousey vs Carano at a catchweight. No one took it seriously that Carano would be a long reigning UFC bantamweight champion, since, for one, 135 lbs is not her natural weight. Similarly, Justino will not likely be a long reigning UFC bantamweight champion, and she probably doesn’t intend to be.

Of course, the difference is that Justino will likely beat Rousey up in front of Rousey’s mother and _retire_ Rousey from MMA to full-time acting, just like she did Carano.

There's a very good reason Rousey moved to 135 in Strikeforce, she wants no part of Cyborg. She can sit there now harping on about 'You've got to make 135' because she knows its very unlikely Cyborg can do it. 

Fact is, she moved OUT of Cyborgs weight class when she was already in it, as I said, very good reason for that.

Cyborg @ 145 = bad night for Rousey.

This fight simply will never happen. Cyborg can't make 135. Ronda will only fight at 135.. and the UFC doesn't have a 145 division, so a catchweight fight would have to be outside of the UFC, which they'd never let Ronda do, nor would she want to do. Simply put, there isn't much reason to do this fight for Ronda, or the UFC. Ronda doesn't have anything left to prove. The only person who needs this fight is Cyborg.

MMA fighters should fight at the lowest weight that they can make comfortably. Ronda makes it to 135 fairly easily every time. Cyborg has missed weight at 145 on several occasions. Ronda doesn't have anything to prove by moving up and Cyborg shouldn't keep destroying her body to drop down. We should just never expect this fight to happen. However, if it somehow did, I expect Ronda to break Cyborgs arm inside 1 round at either 135, 140 or 145.

My take: Cyborg is a fucking beast. I end up just feeling bad for her opponents. Ronda destroys the competition, but Cyborg beats it into the ground. And then stomps on it.

There are two things that need to happen before this fight happens. Cris has to make 135 pounds and sign with the UFC, and Zuffa needs to make a ton of money by putting it off as long as possible and promoting the crap out of it. It's all about the money people. The fight will happen when the money is made and the time is right. This has nothing to do with who is scared of who. They are setting the stage for the biggest fight ever, male or female don't ya'll get it?
