Who cares if it devalues the conference league?🤣

How is this even a conversation? Club with 4 squads and in 4 competitions drop one player for one of them. Christ, you lot are boring, be better.

The conference league devalues itself by offering peanuts compared to cl and uropa

Where is the value in that UECL that Palmer will be able to change anything, everyone is always jumping on Chelsea for every bit thing they do, take a break

"Actually tried to win it?" Pretty sure Chelsea played in the Europa League twice, won it twice. Don't doubt the club's ambition to pick up silverware

We’re not a 1 man team, with our attack we should easily breeze through the group without an issue

This is the problem with punditry. The job requires that you have something say even when there nothing to say, so they come on here and fill up the time with complete nonsense.

Dropping Palmer from the group stage, why is this even a story? They can register him at a later date if they want.
They should have dropped a lot more players if anything. You can't expect Palmer to play in 4 comps this season and then straight into the club world cup.

Complain because Chelsea have a big squad
Complain because Chelsea utilize there big squad

Chelsea still literally have Nkunku, Sancho, Felix, Fernandez, caicedo all their other top players in the squad.

Cor the media love to cry about Chelsea recently, first it was Chelsea have too many players now just because one player who’ll feature heavily in the league and other comps doesn’t get registered for the GROUP STAGES and they lose their minds, it’s almost like Chelsea are using that over inflated squad you was all crying about in the media and giving game time too some of the others who won’t feature as prominently in the league etc

It’s tactical to remain competitive and shows how good the squad is. We’re in it to win it not devalue it and we don’t need palmer to get through the group phase and we all know the teams we’re playing and we should be winning all 6 without him so how is this even a debate. We have a big squad and using it correctly!

Joao Felix and Nkunku needs game time since Palmer will def start in the EPL

Deeny is actually more knowledgeable than Crook and Matterface.

If Chelsea had the opportunity to withdraw their entire team from the Conference League, they'd grab it with both hands.

Surely a team like West Ham winning it devalues it the most

Good god ive heard it all now! We don’t care about devaluing the competition it’s our squad and we wish to be competitive while being in all these comps! He will be in the January squad when it gets to business end of the tournament which doesn’t devalue it.

Moan about fixture congestion, moan about players resting. You can’t win

No issue. It doesn’t devalue it, it just recognises the competition for what it is. A club like Chelsea need to give their bloated squad minutes and would expect them (ex Palmer) to navigate the group stage. No different to Prem clubs playing their back up keeper in the domestic cups or deciding not to name certain first team players in the match day squad for the cups.
