Stand by me Movie Analysis (meaning of friendship)

I recently watched the movie "Stand by me" directed by Rob Weiner. In this video, I analyze the meaning of this movie by exploring its themes of friendship and the loss of childhood innocence. The last line of the movie "I never had any friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?" hit me really hard because I realized it was so true.
